A hospital is listed publicly only after a reviewer has seen its operating licence, confirmed which departments accept international patients, recorded a named contact who answers in writing, and dated that check. Until all four exist, the record stays internal and unpublished, which is why the public directory and city counts can honestly show zero. Verification is repeated, because departments, doctors and admission rules change. A listing therefore carries the date it was last verified, and an old date is information, not decoration. Verification says a hospital and department exist and can be reached; it is not a ranking, an endorsement, or a statement that the hospital is right for your condition.
