A hospital is listed publicly only after a reviewer has seen its operating licence, confirmed which departments accept international patients, recorded a named contact who answers in writing, and dated that check. Until all four exist, the record stays internal and unpublished — which is why the public directory and city counts can honestly show zero. Verification is repeated, because departments, doctors and admission rules change. A listing therefore carries the date it was last verified, and an old date is information, not decoration. Verification says a hospital and department exist and can be reached; it is not a ranking, an endorsement, or a statement that the hospital is right for your condition.
