What a written quotation should contain

How to read a hospital quotation line by line, and which costs sit outside it.

A usable quotation names the hospital and department, lists the planned investigations and procedures separately, states the expected length of stay, and says plainly what is excluded. Costs that usually sit outside a hospital quotation include flights, visa and document work, accommodation for a companion, local transport, interpreter time outside the hospital, and coordination fees. Ask which currency you pay in, at which stage, and to whom — invoices should be issued in the hospital's own name. If a figure is described as "starting from", treat it as incomplete until you have the written breakdown. SincoMed publishes no price list on this site precisely because a meaningful number comes only from a quotation prepared for your records.
