Understanding this cancer

Chemotherapy uses medicines that act on rapidly dividing cells. It is given in cycles so the body can recover between them, and blood tests are taken along the way. Side effects vary by drug and by person, and are managed actively — tell the team early rather than waiting. Some cycles can be continued at home in Bangladesh; whether that is appropriate is a decision for the treating oncologist, and the plan should be written down before you travel back.
